Saturday Night Tea Time!
Used the chicken chow mein slimming world meal for tea just to make sure I stayed on plan and didn't get a takeaway last night!

Game Day!
Last Saturday I went to watch the football and blew 60 syns on next to nothing. I got a pie peas and gravy and wasted at least 30 syns. Then 20.5 for a galaxy and God knows how many on the hot chocolate. So today I made this for 1.5 syns before the game, took a flask to the game using my hex a milk and took Hifi bars as my hex b. I'm so happy with myself today. Determined not to be beaten and I won't see a gain on those scales next week!

Food Diaries
So after our newbie talk at group last week I decided to treat this week as though it was my first week again and fill one of these in. Here's hoping it works and I see the results come Thursday!

Weigh Day
So Thursday I gained 2.5lbs. I was gutted. I've had a massive talk with my consultant and she's really been trying to help me. Not sure why I'm maintaining. I'm the same weight as I was in November so here's my motivation for this week. I am 3st lighter than my heaviest weight at the moment and 2 of those 3 stone are thanks to SW. I know I can get there I just need to focus.

Burgers
I fancied burgers last night but I'd already had my Hex B choice so got some big mushrooms and used them as the 'bread', used the Mozzarella as my Hex A choice, and added some fried onions too. Absolutely lovely!

Chicken & Tomato Soup
For anyone interested in this here is the recipe...
You will need:-
1 onion, peeled and finely chopped
1 red pepper, diced
2 large skinless and boneless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
800g canned chopped tomatoes
400ml chicken stock - I used 3 stock cubes to make sure it was relatively thick
1 tbsp chopped rosemary
1 tbsp crushed chillies
2 tbsp. tomato puree
Finely grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Method:-
Place the onion and pepper in a large non-stick saucepan and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes.
Add the chicken, tomatoes, stock, rosemary and lemon zest, chillies and juice.
Bring to the boil, stir, then cover and simmer on a medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Season to taste and serve
This recipe is completely syn free and so tasty!

Lemon Loaf
Ingredients
•2 lemons
•5 eggs
•45g granulated sweetener (or just 30g if not having a glaze)
•50g self raising flour
Directions
1.Add 30g of the sweetener and flour in a bowl
2.Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon into the mix
3.Using a hand grater, zest both lemons and add the zest to the mix
4.Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Keep the whites aside, beat the yolks and add to the mixture
5.Whisk the egg whites until they are fluffy and form soft peaks. Fold into the mixture
6.Add to the cake tray
7.Bake for 20-30 minutes on 180C until golden brown, allow to cool a little.
8.Use the rest of the sweetener with a dash of water to make a paste to go on top as a glaze. I don't do this but it is upto you.
ENJOY!

A must have for Slimming World-ers. These are usually 4 for £1 in asda so had to stock up when I found 6 for 50p in Home & Bargain, and what's best is they had all the ones Asda never has in stock ❤️

SW Chicken Pizziaola
So yesterday turned into an SP day. Had the SW Chicken Pizziaola for tea on a bed of roasted vegetables with hex a for the mozzarella. Absolutely lovely. Hoping my SP and low Syn days since the weekend will help pull back the damage of going WAY over my syns last weekend!

Pancakes!
😍😍😍 I like that my boyfriend can make pancakes because I fail miserably. The pancakes aren't SW friendly but the toppings are :)
I've had a big blow out this week so thought I'd have a treat!

Current Mood: Indecisive
As it stands, I've lost 2 stone 2lbs since March 12th 2015,
I've lost...
6.5 inches from my hips
7 inches from my waist
4.5 inches from my chest
and 3 inches from my legs since July 2015 (I didn't think to measure them from the start)
I am fully aware this may not seem like a lot to some people, I am also aware that some people don't even want to lose that amount of weight so they would see it as a lot.
To me, I was hoping to be at target by my anniversary, which is 5 weigh ins away (10th March) which I know won't be doable as I have recently lowered my target and now have 15lbs to lose to get there.
Although, since starting, I am not as bothered about the number on the scales, I am more bothered about how I feel in myself. I had a size 20 pair of denim shorts when I was at my biggest, and I've recently been able to get into size 10 clothing. Which is a massive thing for me. I want to be a comfortable size 12, which I don't feel I am at the moment so I am toying with the idea of having a break from SW and concentrating on toning and shaping up as I don't see the benefit of paying £5 per week to be weighed when I'm not interested in the number on the scales.
I have until the end of March already paid for so will most likely decide then but I would love to hear your thoughts?
I use instagram too and if anyone wants to follow me there my username is: doylie_sw
Thanks

Motivational Monday
I find it really hard to find old photos of when I was 'bigger' because I went through a phase of deleting them all.

A bit of hindsight...
I spent a lot of time at the start of my journey comparing myself to others and feeling deflated.
It took me a while but now I know the only comparison that matters is that between me before and me now.
Lesson learnt.

Stuffed Peppers
One of those days when I couldn't decide what I wanted the other night so used two massive peppers. Stuffed them with some speed veg and Syn free doner from the weekend. Topped with hex A cheese and then chucked some tikka chicken on the side. Weird and wonderful concoction :).

Speedy Soup
Made this yesterday. It doesn't give how much of each to add, so add as much as you like, but would definately recommend it. Just had it for lunch.
I put 2 red onions, 1 white onion, 5 celery sticks, 1 tin of tomatoes, 1 tin of sliced carrots and then the rest. Could easily have chucked more in but didn't want to waste veg if I didn't like it
