HeB choices!

I know a few people that can't justify spending £1.95 per box on the SW Hifi bars. 

I feel like that some weeks too. 

But these are amazing alternatives and only £1 a box at the moment too! 

I haven't tried the banoffee or Jaffa cake ones yet but I hear they are to die for

You can have 2 as your HeB or they are 3 syns each!

Chilli Chicken Noodles

New recipe for me! Chilli Chicken Noodles.

Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp crushed dried chillies
½ red, yellow and green pepper (I only had yellow)
1 carrot
300g pack dried wholewheat noodles

This recipe serves 4 so adjust accordingly.

Prepare the stir-fry ingredients: cut the steak into strips, place in a bowl with the soy sauce and crushed chillies and marinate in the fridge for at least 10 minutes; slice the peppers and carrot; cook the noodles according to packet instructions, drain and set aside.

Heat a wok sprayed with low calorie cooking spray and stir-fry in soy sauce and chillies for 2-3 minutes. Add the peppers and carrot and continue frying until softened. Add the noodles, heat through and serve.

Progress

I finally tried on a Lindy Bop dress tonight that I bought about 6 months ago. I was devastated when it was too tight and knew that I would be happy once I could get it on and be able to breathe. I took the plunge last night and safe to say I was ecstatic when it fit easily. It's not perfect but its a lot closer to where I want to be.
The photo on the right was just before starting SW, the one of the left was last night. Only 19lbs difference but you can see it doesn't pull tight on my stomach anymore and generally fits better all over. I can't wait to wear it to a party. It's definately given me the pick me up I needed!

Body Magic Awards



Added this to my collection last night. Might not have been the 1.5stone award I wanted but it's an award!
I'm loving getting back into the gym and actually loving going for a run. Set myself a few mini fitness targets and some events that I want to do next year. SW has given me the motivation to do it and I love it!

Gained half a pound. And that's okay!
I was expecting it after such a big loss last week and it being the dreaded week of the star!
now exactly half way on my journey.

Weigh Day


Back in the game! My head is finally back in it and I'm determined to stay on track! After 2 weeks of a 1lb gain each week due to lack of eating/being ill I am definately happy to see a figure like that tonight! 

Hard work does pay off!

SW meals


Nearly 4 months in so thought I'd finally give some of these meals a go. Tried the chicken tikka tonight and would highly recommend. It fed two of us easily and the chicken didn't taste like cardboard which is what normally puts me off ready meals! Would Definately get it again just to have one in the freezer for those days when you just don't have the time to prep a meal from scratch.

Biscuits!

I posted a recipe a few weeks ago about some biscuits I made. Here's my second attempt, I made them smaller which was a good idea!

Here's the recipe again for those who missed it!

Ingredients:

35g porridge oats
Sweetener (add depending on how sweet you like things, I used 2 tbsp)
Orange extract 1tsp
2 eggs
And grated chocolate on top (2 syns)

PLEASE NOTE: I made 3 x this amount as I was taking it to the taster session!

Method:
Add all ingredients to bowl and combine
Put in mold and cook until golden brown
Enjoy!


Will be taking them to our taster session later at 7pm! You can eat a 1/3 of these and if you use the porridge oats allowance it would only be TWO SYNS!!!

Lunch

Keeping on plan today with SW tomato soup, my HEB bread, some strawberries and a syn free yogurt. Delicious. Can't complain! Stuffed.

SW Tomato Soup - success!

So easy to make I don't know why I didn't try it sooner!

So lovely! 

Ingredients:

2 tins of chopped tomatoes
1 tin of baked beans 
1 tin of chopped carrots
4 picked onions
300ml veg stock
Some oregano or similar

Add all to pan and blend then just heat as required. So easy and just like the Heinz tomato soup!

Body confidence!

I've never worn a bikini in my entire adult life, and I've bought this to wear this year in Javea. It's a size 12, it's my motivation. I can't remember the last time I was ever a proper size 12 so this is my target!
